Our Mission

To provide compassionate, trauma-informed therapy to individuals and couples in Alaska, using evidence-based practices that promote healing, growth, and emotional resilience. We are committed to offering culturally responsive care in a safe, secure, and supportive environment where every client feels valued and empowered.

Our Process

Getting Started Is Simple and Supportive

We understand that beginning therapy can feel overwhelming, so we’ve created a clear, confidential, and client-centered step-by-step process.

1. Initial Inquiry

Contact us through our contact form, Spruce message, or phone. Our administrative team will respond within one business day to answer any questions and help determine the right fit for your needs.

2. Intake Paperwork

You’ll receive a secure link to our client portal (via SimplePractice) to complete your intake forms, including consents, demographics, and insurance information if applicable.

3. Insurance Verification

If you’re using insurance, we’ll verify your benefits before your first session and inform you of your expected co-pay or deductible responsibility.

4. Therapist Match & Scheduling

Once your forms are complete, we’ll match you with one of our licensed therapists and schedule your first session at a time that works for you.

5. First Session

In your intake session (CPT Code 90791), your therapist will explore your goals, concerns, and history to begin building a customized treatment plan.

6. Ongoing Support

After the intake, sessions continue weekly or biweekly, depending on your needs. Your therapist will integrate evidence-based approaches like EMDR, DBT, DNMS, Brainspotting, and Somatic Therapy to support your healing process.

7. Secure Communication & Billing

All sessions are conducted via HIPAA-compliant telehealth. Payments are processed through our secure platform, and client questions can be addressed via Spruce or email.
